How to remove yourself from PeopleLooker
PeopleLooker is a people-search site: anyone can look you up and see details like your age, address, phone number and relatives. Here's how to opt out yourself.

- Time by hand

- Captcha
Step by step
- 1
Open peoplelooker.com and look for "Opt out", "Do not sell" or "Remove my info", usually in the footer.
- 2
Search for yourself by name and state, then pick the listing that's really you. There may be more than one.
- 3
Complete the captcha. These forms are built to slow people down, so expect a few attempts.
- 4
Give an email address you can check. Most sites send a confirmation link, and nothing is removed until you click it.
- 5
Wait for the removal. It's often a few days, sometimes weeks.
- 6
Search again later. Listings are often rebuilt from public records and come back.
One site is never the whole story
Brokers buy from and copy each other, so the same listing usually shows up on several sites, and removed ones often come back months later. Check the other sites we cover too.
